Auction held by the central bank do not affect the level of market performance

said the Iraqi market for securities that auctions held by the central bank do not affect the level of performance of companies and foreign investment.

Said Taha Ahmed Abdul Salam, Executive Director of the market, told the independent press (Iba) today, Friday, there was no link or directly with the joint CBI auctions, particularly as the auctions are for the purposes of foreign trade goods, and not for investment purposes in the Iraqi market for securities.

He added that the changes to foreign exchange rate, unrelated to the work market, where the buying and selling shares in the market place in Iraqi dinars, Add to this that the dollar exchange rate changes are gradual, not a runaway, which means that its effects on trading the market is limited.
